The regulations governing this second 2026 call have now been published and provide for two lines of funding designed to promote innovation, research and the professionalisation of Andorra’s cultural sector

The Collective Management Society for Copyright and Related Rights of the Principality of Andorra (SDADV) has published the regulations governing the second grant call for 2026. The initiative expands support for artistic creation and focuses on two strategic areas for the development of the cultural sector: interdisciplinary research and artistic residencies, with or without mentoring.

The call seeks to promote projects that go beyond traditional cultural production formats and encourage collaboration across disciplines, knowledge creation, artistic experimentation and the professionalisation of creators. Its aim is to support working processes that enrich Andorra’s cultural ecosystem and create new development opportunities for authors, artists and cultural professionals.

The regulations establish two separate funding lines. The first is aimed at interdisciplinary research projects connecting the arts with fields such as science, technology, the humanities, philosophy or the social sciences. The second supports creative processes developed through artistic residencies or mentoring programmes, providing workspaces, knowledge exchange and professional guidance.

Eligible expenses include, among others, fees for artistic teams, the rental of spaces and equipment, travel costs, mentoring services, access to resources required for research and project dissemination activities.

Selected projects must be carried out mainly during 2026. However, the regulations allow initiatives that require a longer implementation period due to their nature to be completed during the first half of 2027.

The grants are intended for SDADV members working in one of the following disciplines:

  • Visual arts and photography
  • Music
  • Audiovisual
  • Literature
  • Performing arts

In addition to financial support, the call emphasises the social impact of the projects. Funded initiatives are encouraged to include outreach activities or public presentations and to share the results of their research or creative processes with the public, strengthening culture’s role as a space for knowledge, innovation and participation.

Through this call, SDADV continues to implement the actions provided for in its statutory objectives to support contemporary creation and the development of the country’s cultural sector, with particular emphasis on projects committed to research, cross-disciplinary collaboration and artistic excellence.

The regulations are now available in the BOPA.
